Broad Plain RFC seek Senior Coach

Broad Plain RFC is a community rugby club based in Bedminster, Bristol. We currently run two senior teams and are looking to build on recent success, establish our senior teams at new levels and push on to new heights as a club. We have a thriving junior section which is at the heart of the rugby community in Bedminster and has produced a number of our senior players. We aim to offer a structured and positive coaching environment for all our senior players, of varying abilities, new and established, but also to help the young players we frequently have coming through to senior rugby with this transition.

We are looking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic coach who believes in a fun and attacking brand of rugby, “the Broad Plain style”, qualified to a minimum of England Rugby Coaching Award/Level 2 to help move the club forward and build on a season in which our 1st & 2ndXVs both achieved 2nd place in their respective leagues, securing promotions. If appointed, you'll be coaching/running our Tuesday and Thursday training sessions each week and the weekly fixtures home and away. The role would also entail leading team selection and working with our team captains to provide feedback to the Management Committee.

We have excellent modern facilities & clubhouse. A floodlit main pitch, a second senior sized pitch, and also floodlit training area/junior sized pitch.
